 Summer Solstice sculptures   2011   9’ x 7’ x 7’
On the summer solstice the sun will pass through the tallest bronze sculpture and shine on the bronze summer marker located in the center of the 3 sculptures. On the winter solstice the sun will pass through the winter sculpture and shine down on the aluminum winter marker located in front of the sculpture. These interactive sculptures are made of a steel armature, epoxy clay, bronze, copper, and aluminum metal cladding.
